People are going for gen 2, while my thoughts are either gen 3 or gen 1, but never gen 2. Gen 1 can be used for breeding (so therefore are worth more) and can hunt for crystals. Gen 3 is the cheapest to grow quickly. Gen 2 is exactly nothing. Or is it a jack of all trades? Let's find out. At this moment all eggs cost 12 wax (so 36 HXD) to create, 6 HXD to stake and 15 HXD to hatch, so 57 HXD The floor prices are (for gen 1 at 0 breeds) 215, 190 and 130 HXD Prices are a snapshot, today's truth might not be tomorrow's truth After costs the profit is 158, 133 and 73 HXD.  Day 12 Dear Diary, As I've told you before my plan was to go fully for u2 exploring. I wanted to get 3 high luck bees and get through Icerax this way. However, because of the issue I had with the welcome pass I need to change my plans. I only got out of the welcome pass on Thursday and it is not possible to get to level 10 within 1 day, you need 2 days for this. So I was too late to be able to sign up. Going next week would mean I would need to keep funds idle for a long time and then only a brief amount of time left to actually benefit from it. So now it will be fully focussing on U1. I will do some harvesting, especially during busy days and snipe hunting whenever I have the time. I took a snapshot of the current market and this should be about the profit for 100 hunts. With harvesting I wouldn't get about 1hxd per run, so this shóuld be better.  It's véry important to keep the costs low though and it will be hard to sell with only 1 slot at a time.  Day 11 Dear Diary, I have so much to tell you. I think I should just do an update today to catch you up! I have - bought 4 more desert bees, all 148 hxd, probably someone was selling a squad - joined 10 raffles - finally activated my new queen - claimed my biggest daily reward so far, but I didn't have much time to play and I only had my queen for half a day, so this will be much more more tomorrow - started raiding to get to level 10 XP - actually reached level 10!! (training bee zone 4 and legendary items, yay!) - claimed bumble bash rewards, many shards to sell! - did all level 5 quests - HATCHED A BEE! 🔥 (and bought a common endurance upgrade to bump him a zone) I'm working on a thorough analysis of my bees, I will give you that tomorrow I think.  Day 10 Dear Diary, So I have this bee with 165 endurance. At 175 it can go 1 zone up, wich is 6% more endurance. Should I upgrade my bee or not?! If I boost the bee from zone 4 to zone 5, it will go from a 52.2% halving penalty to a 61.41% halving penalty, meaning I will get a ~18% boost on his agility and capacity. The bee will go from 0.5748 daily to 0.6762 daily. A difference of 0.1 per day. Per month this is about 3HXD difference. 6% endurance has a value of 18 HXD at this moment (item marketplace). So it would take me half a year to get those costs back and only after that it it would gain me more. It's not a great return. However, there is a little more to it. Day 9 Dear Diary, The blockchain actions are back up!! So let's see what we can do. I already checked magic eden yesterday to be prepared. I want the cheapest (so fully bred) gen 1 queen with stats as close to 280 as possible and found this beauty on the top! There is actually even a perfect one, much cheaper available, but it's listed in SOL and for the challenge we can only sell HXD for WAX. I actually thought I had a super clever strategy, which was going for a Cocarro Queen immediately (you can still activate those as hive queen), but I noticed the price difference was over a factor 10, so that plan was out of the window soon.  Day 8 Dear Diary, I've already revealed some of my plans, but it's time to dive into it some more. So when the blockchain is back up, what we gonna do girl? Are we gonna buy? Yes or no? Maybe let me sleep on it?  Well I have some plans. First of all what you could probably call the standard plan. I will get: - Gen 1 Earth Queen, lvl 20, bred out - to me this is still the single most important asset to start with. It's cheap and will give a massive boost to the hive. - Of course I will pair a couple of bees with her mood. What bees you might ask? Well, find that out later. I might have some nice math for you soon. But I will be going for fastest ROI. These will be my base assets to harvest in U1 and get a steady HXD income to pay for the rest of the plans. What else? Day 7 Dear Diary, I know the updates are getting a bit boring now. I want to quest, level, breed, hatch, buy bees and queens, prepare for Icerax etc. etc! But seems like we're almost there now! Tonight I have another flight, so I'm writing a bit earlier than normal. So what could I do today? I've claimed by biggest daily reward so far and entered 2 raffles. I'm not sure I would have paid 70 zzubs this early in game for this small chance, but for this (short term) challenge I think it's the only option to make more out of it. And the reason why I started inviting everyone as of day 1 to be my friend. Need them zzubs! And I've made it! The first bee with 60 missions completed. He's dust now.
