What generation should I hatch?

Dear Diary,

Yes, I know I didn't write to you yesterday. I have not forgotten about you, I just had Christmas gatherings to attend 🤷

I see some discussion in the Discord chat about what generation to hatch. People are going for gen 2, while my thoughts are either gen 3 or gen 1, but never gen 2.

Gen 1 can be used for breeding (so therefore are worth more) and can hunt for crystals. Gen 3 is the cheapest to grow quickly. Gen 2 is exactly nothing. Or is it a jack of all trades? Let's find out.

At this moment all eggs cost 12 wax (so 36 HXD) to create, 6 HXD to stake and 15 HXD to hatch, so 57 HXD

The floor prices are (for gen 1 at 0 breeds) 215, 190 and 130 HXD

Prices are a snapshot, today's truth might not be tomorrow's truth

After costs the profit is 158, 133 and 73 HXD.

Per shard this is 1.05, 1.66 and 1.83.

So seems the gen 1 is actually least valued at the moment and gen 2 and 3 don't really matter that much.

In my case that means I will be going for gen 3's, I want to ramp up quickly and they carry more value per shard even.

It's good to note however, that 0 breeds also doesn't seem to be valued much for gen 1's at right this moment. So if your strategy is breeding, then you might want to go for the gen 1's, use them and then sell them.

Icerax: How to open the portal to Cocarro

Day 16 Dear Diary, I'm going for Icerax! Startegy: get 1-3 bees with luck > 250. They're supposed to stay in the battle for a long time, and will do a lot of damage that way. So I've bought a couple of relatively cheap luck upgrades and upgrades the highest luck bees. These 3 are supposed to be my MVP's! I started the battle with 3975 attack, the battle starts at 01:00 am for me. When I woke up, this was the snapshot, already more than the minimum needed to qualify! And when the evening started it looked like this It's looking good I think! If I filter by luck, I see all the high luck ones are still in the battle! It's paying off! Oh, I also see I upgraded 1 that can only fight last few hours My advise, when you don't have many bees, go for a few with high luck! I also made level 13 by the way 🔥

Icerax? Hunting profits? Cocarro Team? Answers to big questions!

Day 18 Dear Diary, I know, I know, you're wondering: - Did she get the portal stone from Icerax?! - Is she still hunting? - If so why? Or why not? - What are we even gonna do in Cocarro? Message from the future: This article was written and published in January, far before the changes to the generations in U1/Earth. All the basics still apply, the strategy would still be low zone turbo harvesting, but it might be interesting to spend a little bit more on quality > quantity and the asset prices are not the same anymore after that announcement.
