Day 8

Dear Diary,

I've already revealed some of my plans, but it's time to dive into it some more. So when the blockchain is back up, what we gonna do girl? Are we gonna buy? Yes or no? Maybe let me sleep on it?

Well I have some plans. First of all what you could probably call the standard plan. I will get:

- Gen 1 Earth Queen, lvl 20, bred out - to me this is still the single most important asset to start with. It's cheap and will give a massive boost to the hive.

- Of course I will pair a couple of bees with her mood. What bees you might ask? Well, find that out later. I might have some nice math for you soon. But I will be going for fastest ROI.

These will be my base assets to harvest in U1 and get a steady HXD income to pay for the rest of the plans.

What else?

On top of this I want 3 bees with high luck (250+). I will either buy or upgrade them, that will depend on the cost at that time. These will be my bees to get the Icerax stone for U2. My plan is to depend on those 3 to survive long enough, to do enough damage to make it. Afterwards those high luck bees could also come in handy for some hunting on busy lands if there is a nice extreme drop. I will also use these for 'normal' hunting and I will bet heavily on that in the beginning, but I will track the costs and rewards for 100 hunts to see if this is still a viable strategy at this point in time.

Do you need access to U2 at this point in time? No absolutely not and for the fastest growth it might not be the best strategy or not even a good strategy, but well, it's just loads of fun to achieve it right? :) Also there is a flex channel in Discord now, so, there's that 🤷 Another problem will be to actually being able to play there. Maybe I should get the royal pass. It's expensive, but also gives rewards that would pay for most if sold again hopefully. Not sure how to tackle this yet.

But if I get the stone before the end of the challenge, I will probably get a queen too or an egg and hunt crystals. I could then just take a zone 1-2 land for many hours with maybe 1-2 bees and just hope for an HXD box and some shards. The costs are the same as a cheap hunt to do that, I think in 20-ishes boxes you could get something alike and have that chance on HXD.

I think it's more of a gamble than a strategy probably, but we're playing here for very short term, so maybe you sometimes have to take that chance. I'll update you later!

Icerax: How to open the portal to Cocarro

Day 16 Dear Diary, I'm going for Icerax! Startegy: get 1-3 bees with luck > 250. They're supposed to stay in the battle for a long time, and will do a lot of damage that way. So I've bought a couple of relatively cheap luck upgrades and upgrades the highest luck bees. These 3 are supposed to be my MVP's! I started the battle with 3975 attack, the battle starts at 01:00 am for me. When I woke up, this was the snapshot, already more than the minimum needed to qualify! And when the evening started it looked like this It's looking good I think! If I filter by luck, I see all the high luck ones are still in the battle! It's paying off! Oh, I also see I upgraded 1 that can only fight last few hours My advise, when you don't have many bees, go for a few with high luck! I also made level 13 by the way 🔥

Icerax? Hunting profits? Cocarro Team? Answers to big questions!

Day 18 Dear Diary, I know, I know, you're wondering: - Did she get the portal stone from Icerax?! - Is she still hunting? - If so why? Or why not? - What are we even gonna do in Cocarro? Let me immediately jump into this. I had more than enough damage, ended up as 19 and as expected my luck upgraded bees did most of the work and survived the full battle! See my other blog for more info about this strategy. And now what?! Yeah, good question. After spending all HXD on earth assets this was now more of a pride thing than anything else. However, I did buy the starter pass now for 200 HXD. This would allow me to do explore missions. Maybe we can get some bees and a queen to do some of those. So how to get those bees? What the Whale?!

Message from the future: This article was written and published in January, far before the changes to the generations in U1/Earth. All the basics still apply, the strategy would still be low zone turbo harvesting, but it might be interesting to spend a little bit more on quality > quantity and the asset prices are not the same anymore after that announcement. What are the changes? Only gen 3 eggs can be created, for 150 shards + WAX Gen 3 Bees will have 99 floor and 130 ceiling stats Per 1st April: Gen 3: 60% decrease in Queen Boost effectiveness Gen 2: 30% decrease in Queen Boost effectiveness There is an event item coming that will give players the option to increase the Generation of a Bee. Let's only look at the Queen Boost effectiveness for gen 3 now. Before the changes (right now) a 270 gen 1 queen would give 108 stats to the gen 3.
