Day 3
Dear Diary,
So here we are. I've reported the bug and hopefully we can have it fixed before our new player influx that will surely come seen all the awesome Alpha this week!
I've come up with a plan. For today it has 2 points.
1. Harvesting: Highest zone possible, lowest fees possible, on lands with reserves.
I'm glad you're asking.
First a word about capacity. Let's say you see a nice land in zone 2, but you can go to zone 4 (and it also has a nice land with reserves). A bee will only work at 37.71% in zone 2, while he works for 52.20% in zone 4. That 38%!!! more. The easiest free upgrade you can get.
You're not so into percentages? Fine, I got you.
If your bee has 150 capacity stats after queen mood or matching likes boosts, he will he able to hold 0.16 hxd at 100%. In zone 2 he can only collect 0.061 per run, while in zone 4 he can earn 0.085 per run. That looks like nothing, but with 3 runs per day that's 2.16 hxd per month, for 30 training bees this starts to add up. Ok sure, they won't be all mood or like matched, but you also didn't have to do ánything for this extra hxd.
The fee has less impact, but at the moment of writing, there is no reason to pay 10% fees, just pick a land with reserves that asks 4-5%. At some point, when it's not possible anymore to find a good zone land with reserves, this would be the first thing to drop for training bees though. Mainly because you will have many bees that don't match mood (or likes with each other).
So I'm gonna gather 11 hxd and get that last breed in. Let's soldier on!
2. Hunting: Snipe hunt all day every day with all the low agi/cap bees.
Yeah true, when you've got all your queen upgrades, there is little reason to spend a lot of time on hunting. Although you do need your upgrade shards! But I am in this challenge. And I am stuck because of the bug. The only thing I cán do is hunting. So don't tell anyway else, but I've got a master plan.
So when a Training bee does 60 missions, you can convert him to shards. You will get 40 shards (randomly bombs, shields, cursed honey drop or sonar buzz) but also 5 generation egg shards! (note: you must be a Certified Beekeeper or have purchased a Season Pass this month to qualify for this).
Of course I am certified, so if I can retire them all with 60 mission, that would be almost 4 gen3 bees!! The road to ownership is wide open!
Some dropped Alpha this week was that we wouldn't even need wax anymore by the end of this month to be able to play with them in game. Unfortunately for this challenge I will still need the wax, but that's alright, because the community can win the bees.
Oh, before I forget, don't be afraid to try to snipe on a land with another training bee. Training bees hunt for free, so just recall when you didn't get the drop.
This was a lot! See you tomorrow!
